There is a saying in the manosphere, and it is this: Women want fried ice.
What that means is women want the sexy bad boy who is just out of reach, but who is also the secretly committed sensitive guy who wants to talk about her feelz….
The mysterious Alpha/beta in one man, on perfect demand with her hormonal cycle.
Now it seems to have even gone beyond that to people wanting fried ice in general. Big govt. that solves all but never interferes. A nanny state that only controls “others.”
Fried ice. It doesn’t exist. One must choose….is it the wide or narrow gate?

“Yes, there are but two paths that you can go on, but in the long run there’s always time to change the road you’re on.” ~ Led Zepplin
That Stairway To Heaven quote is mostly a lie. Once one has gone down a certain path, more often than not, they’re committed to it and can’t turn back. And even if they try to turn back, it’s like a fish trying to swim upstream. The current just sweeps them away.
I agree, but I think there is a bit of an explanation.
Women have fantasy-based desires and then more practical desires. I think the problem arises when they give in to their fantasy-based desires like the bad boy or the irresponsible but cute loser. Then they basically end up either getting hurt or becoming his mother. Even in love, someone has to be practical to an extent.
Groovy song, though.
What exacerbates this is the woman’s friends invariably telling her what she wants (at that moment) is totally justified and deserved, and that failure of her man to promptly provide it is a profound failing on his part (which is usually indicative of selfishness, naturally).
“Dear lady, can’t you hear the wind blow? Oh, did you know, your stairway lies on the whisperin’ wind.” 😛
Well, I linked it. I didn’t watch it all. The video is poor but, there are no commercials.
As for “fried ice”, men get more than a little tired of conflicting demands are are impossible and nonsensical.
The fembots have been too quiet since Trump won. They may be saving it up for Inauguration Day which is Friday after next. I guess we’ll have to wait and be surprised then.
I choose someone who really loves , trusts and respects me. I am eternally thankful that I had the means to get an IUD before trump makes BC impossible. Did you all read that allegedly Bikers want to “protect” the Inauguaration?
I have got a strong Madonna/Whore complex. So I understand that Nice guy/Bad boy complex in women.
In my case this Freudian complex is totally unbalanced in favour of the Whore.
I´d rather by far a sweet whore than a bitch housewife.
Now, why on Earth would Donald Trump want to do away with birth control? I believe feminists are making stuff up about him.
I just did a quick search on “Trump outlaw birth control” and sure enough it seems there is a concern about this, one example of many: http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/10/health/birth-control-trump/
However I have not heard any mention by Trump of outlawing birth control. I suspect this is coming from a fear/disinformation campaign of some sort aimed at young women?
Now, why on Earth would Donald Trump want to do away with birth control? I believe feminists are making stuff up about him.
Not do away, but him stopping financing Planned Parenthood – who are more willing to prescribe other means of birth control then pills. Doctors wich are practicing outside of planned parenthood are more eager to sell “their favorite” pills. And most are not up to date on possibilities. Also many women will find that the price of their birth control is likely to go way up. So no, feminists did not get this one wrong.
@ruhgrebietshexe welcome. Thanks for explaining further. I don’t think Trump’s female supporters would support a ban on birth control, I just don’t see that happening. As for accessibility, I agree that birth control should be accessible and affordable, free if warrented by income. And not to make you paranoid, but I myself am an IUD baby, although my mom claims the Army doctors “forced” her to use it after my brother was born and she was “praying” for a baby. Suuuure, right Mom. Considering she got her tubes tied when I was born. But anyway, I digress. I have not used the long term hormonal implants or shot versions of BC but friends who have report some pretty bad side effects.
So I understand your concern, but I really do not see Trump making limiting birth control access a top priority.
ALso, one piece of advice my friend’s mom gave us both when we were young teens, “If you wouldn’t want to marry him and/or have his baby, don’t have sex with him.” We of course thought that was old fashioned at the time, but there is a lot of wisdom to it.
I am glad you have found a good person.
Out of curiosity, how old are you (apprx) and how did you find this blog?
And believe it or not, the guys say they would LOVE to have a reliable form of MALE contraception. At the moment their options are condoms or vasectomy. And unlike women, men have NO SAY if they want a child or not, so if his partner goes on with an unplanned pregnancy he is automatically paying child support etc. for 18 years.
If you flip it around, it’s akin to men banning birth control for women, allowing the man to choose if the baby will be born, and if so she would have to pay child support for 18 years. And she would have NO SAY at all.
So when it comes to access to reliable birth control, we women are actually in a much better position than the guys are.
As for bikers offering protection at the inauguration, it would not surprise me. They have been very supportive of Trump and also tend to be very pro-America, pro freedom, etc.
I can see defunding Planned Parenthood, in light of the revelations from their selling fetal body parts.
@ Fuzzie I don’t know too much about that, the wikipedia entry seems to say that was debunked? But who knows.
My Partner and I have been together for 5 years. But we are both not yet ready for a child. Especially since he is not NT. Pearl Index is very good and I do NFP as well since the IUD is hormone free. So condoms on critical days and the IUD together should make the whole thing as save as possible. (He likes the feel of latex on his men parts) Marriage will be on the table soon.
Yes, male contraception wich is semi permanent is something wich should be top priority. A pity that the pill for men was too irritating to the ones who took them test wise. I mean nausea, low libido and mood swings are something we women put up with too when on the pill. But men should actively demand such research. After all it is an Industry and not Women wich are putting a stop to it.
I was introduced to your site by a woman wich has my respect. She and I do not share much of the Red Pill Ideals, many concepts are not at all compatible to our faith, but we do see the good points. We are both heathens and active in our troth. To us (Troth, leaning on the tales of old) Women are fiercely loyal, wise in matters of goods/money and we also believe that men who cheat might be weak willed. We see Women as equal in worth and dignity. A woman opinion is valued. Cf course always depending on the individual case. 😉
I saw the videos when they came out. It was pretty blatant. Curiously, the last word that I heard was that no one from Planned Parenthood was likely to be prosecuted but, the people who exposed them were being investigated in Texas. I think that Planned Parenthood is a political sacred cow that is protected.
The source for the info on trump is a right wing web site known for absurd and false theories. My SO reads it for fun.
thats why high schools should just abandon basic biology classes, and return to teaching girls the joys of giving oral and anal sex.
Ruhr,
I can’t see Trump taking a position against birth control. not only would it politically suicidal, it would be irresponsible. I guess there are too many people out there trying to start rumors. A little skepticism is a healthy thing. Not that I haven’t been taken in by a bad source also. *tongue in cheek*
I meant regarding the bikers.
But I do believe that Trump might destroy insurance and people will have to pay out of their own pockets. A friend of mine pays 50$ for her Nuvarings. Every 3 months! So for low income people it will get harder.
I overlooked that. I remember what happened at Altamont when the Rolling Stones contracted the Hells Angels for security.
@ruhgrebietshexe sounds like you have a solid plan there. If somehow you get pregnant anyway, from this IUD baby I would just say go with it 🙂
Agreed, men should be DEMANDING more and better options. Men don’t seem to organize as well as women somehow, so that so far has not happened… Hopefully soon, some stuff is in the works…
@ruhgrebietshexe Consider the source, not one I would expect to be unbiased against Mr. Trump.
I honestly don’t think he is going to be as bad as some say. I was very skeptical at first, so I watched him obsessively, daily leading up to the election from that point on, researched his background, listened to all the rhetoric on both sides, etc. to form this opinion. Of course nobody has a crystal ball, but we’ve got an electoral system with checks and balances and the founder’s had a really solid game plan so I think it’s all going to be fine.
FML ummmmmm….. I don’t think that’s a viable or realistic plan! Lol.
FML and further, were I a guy, I would be PARANOID as heck about the birth control thing. It is not unheard of for gals to get pregnant from inseminating themselves… I prefer not to explain the details but use your imagination…
I am all for free birth control for people under a certain income level. That’s just good social planning. People in the least likely position to financially cope with an unplanned pregnancy would not a group society should want to fall thru the cracks. For sure.
swallow dont spit! lol
All bikers are hardly Hells Angels, btw. Maybe 1% or less of all riders are in motorcycle clubs of that nature.
Having seen the Harley rally culture in person (surprise!) back in my married days (my ex likes bikes but doesn’t get into the MC thing) I can verify that most people are NOT in motorcycle clubs, and those who are mind their own biz but are not people one would want to to tango with. They would be at the rallys, but mostly had issues with each other (Gypsy Jokers, Bandidtos, and others, some of those guys are NUTTY SCARY), not unaffiliated attendees. I never saw Hells Angels at those things, oddly, and have never made their acquaintance except once on as plane I was sat next to a 20 some son of HA parents who had lots of wild stories, would not stop talking my ear off, and somehow had a $4000 a month trust fund from his folks so I really can’t say much more than that. Still, I wouldn’t tango w one, for sure.
I have no direct experience but, from what I have been told, they are scary crazy.
I am not joking that kid told me his WHOLE life story! I should wrote a post. It started with, “my parents met in a meth lab…” and went on non stop from thereto the present day but then ended when the flight attendant wouldn’t serve him another drink and he got so mad I thought he was going to go postal (He didn’t do anything yet but his eyes! Yikes!), but instead he got up and went to the back of the plane where he had a row to himself and fell asleep. AFter we landed the flight attendant said to me, “Sorry about your brother.” ANd I said, “Brother??? I never saw that guy before in my life!” and she said “Oh I am so sorry you had to put up with that!” and I said, “Nah, it was interesting. See ya!” 🙂
RPG,
I believe you. Maybe it is good that you met him on a plane. It limited his options.
“But men should actively demand such research. After all it is an Industry and not Women wich are putting a stop to it.”
Did you ever consider the possibility that some problems are just *hard*, rather the eevil people and especially eeeevil corporations doing nefarious things?
There are plenty of biotech entrepreneurs and biotech companies who would be thrilled to be able to offer a practical male contraception product, probably government researchers as well.
@ Fuzzie lol I was a captive audience, for sure! It was an interesting flight, for sure. But I can talk to almost anyone really….so he was not the first or last total stranger to tell me their life story since! Lol.
@ David, I used to think (and was told), pre-red pill, that men didn’t WANT to be bothered with birth control, and it was just another way we were oppressed by the man! It’s a common narrative, actually! I don’t believe that anymore, of course…
@David: Well, then Men should just man up and demand more research. And the ones who were guinea pigs for the male pill should not complain when the first! try produces side effects wich women are all too familiar with. After all they can be certain that even if they are nauseous they are not pregnant;);)
Don’t want babies? Take it in the ass or eat his baby batter
No need to be fucking around with something as powerful and as little understood as hormones….. bio chemistry in general
Women will never stand for effective male birth control
Takes away to many options/ to much power from women
